Focus: Native Seed Production & Seed-Based Restoration
The National Native Seed Conference (NNSC) is excited to announce a virtual conference in 2024! The NNSC connects research, industry, land management, and restoration professionals, providing the premier opportunity to develop relationships and share information about the collection, research and development, production, and use of native plant materials.
Our next event will be a virtual conference on February 7-8, 2024. The conference will be held from 8am – 2pm PST/11am – 5pm EST.
Registration
Regular registration: $90
Equity registration: $45
The National Native Seed Conference (NNSC) supports diversity and equity. We recognize that the strength of our native seed community is in our people and we believe that everyone has the right to attend the NNSC. To reduce the cost barrier of attending a conference, we offer an Equity rate option. This Equity rate is for attendees who would benefit from attending the conference but don’t have the financial support from their organization. These opportunities are provided on the honor system and could include underrepresented groups, students, non-profit staff, or small native seed producers.
Abstract Submission – Open August 14 – November 10, 2023 – CLOSED!
February 7 will focus on Native Seed Production and February 8 will focus on Seed-Based Restoration. Abstracts that include one or both conference sub-themes of Climate Change and Indigenous Knowledge are preferred. Presentation time slots are 30 minutes, 20-25 minutes for speaking and 5-10 minutes for questions. Notifications will be sent in November. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
