Habitat Restoration

IAE creates, restores and manages habitats for native plants and wildlife throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Southwest and beyond.

We apply research to conservation challenges and enhance the restoration and conservation of native species and habitats.

• Evaluate effects of climate change on estuaries and endangered species

Education

IAE offers opportunities and curricula for K-12 students, teachers, and a diversity of community members to engage in ecological education and on-the-ground stewardship.

• Create school programs and curriculum, including hands-on activities at local natural areas
• Provide teacher workshops
• Increase sustainability in prisons: changing lives by engaging inmates in habitat restoration
