About the Conference

Seeds for Change

Learn. Grow. Connect.

The 2027 National Native Seed Conference is dedicated to the science, practice, and policy of producing and effectively using native seed. The event brings together professionals in the native seed industry to support the development of best practices in seed selection, cultivation and use in rehabilitation and restoration after disasters, such as wildfire and hurricanes, as well as mine reclamation and ongoing sustainable land uses, such as forestry and agriculture. The conference supports managers and users of public and private lands that are in need of rehabilitation such as forest and grazing lands after fire or post-mining recovery, and supports the growing private restoration seed industry.

Join us for this in-person conference designed to:

  • Provide opportunities for attendees to explore new ideas
  • Share success stories and lessons learned
  • Connect and collaborate with colleagues across the country

*Conferences are held in person on odd years (2023, 2025, etc.) and virtually on even years 2024, 2026, etc.).
