Pacific Northwest Native Plant Hub

Introduction

The Pacific Northwest Native Plant Hub (Hub) is a new initiative brought to you by Institute for Applied Ecology, Oregon State University, and Bonneville Environmental Foundation to build a stronger, more connected, and economically resilient native plant industry in the Pacific Northwest.

The Hub seeks to support native plant and seed growers by identifying gaps in production knowledge, communication, marketing, and connections between growers and end users. We will then address those gaps through a shared resource hub, grower directory, farm and nursery tours, webinars, technical guides, and peer-to-peer networking events.

The network will bring together existing knowledge and resources while creating new opportunities for growers to learn from one another, improve production and business practices, and connect with potential customers.

This project is supported by a Professional Development grant from Western SARE.

2026-27 Winter Webinar Series

The Institute for Applied Ecology, in partnership with Oregon State University’s Garden Ecology Lab, will host a series of webinars in the winter of 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. Webinars are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from November to April. Webinars will provide an opportunity to learn from each other and expand our network and knowledge base. We will also collect information about what information growers would like to learn about in future webinars. See below for more details and how to join.
