Weed Guides for Oregon Available

Three separate books cover most of Oregon from the coast to the Willamette Valley to the eastern half of the state

Plan now for the coming field season! Three up-to-date weed guides for Oregon are currently available:

• Field Guide to Weeds of the Willamette Valley
• Field Guide to Weeds of Eastern Oregon
• Field Guide to Weeds of the Oregon Coast

These books are organized by plant group, with icons to make finding plants by type (e.g., tree, grass, or flower) and flower color easier. These are is indispensable pocket-sized (4 x 6 in) guides designed for use by landowners, amateurs, technicians, and professional botanical personnel. Each book contains clear descriptions of 50-60 invasives with full color photos. New invaders are presented, as well as established weeds, and the guides include details about look-alikes to avoid confusion.

This is an ideal guide for agency field staff, landowners, and others seeking an easy-to-use, field-friendly resource. Great as an outreach tool at special events!
