Stacy Moore is IAE’s Ecological Education Program Coordinator. She engages students with the outdoors through habitat restoration and hands-on inquiry based lessons in the classroom. Stacy helps coordinate IAE’s Sustainability in Prisons Project work that includes education programs and growing native plants at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Snake River Correctional Institution and Oak Creek Youth Authority. In 2018, she was a recipient of a TIAA Difference Maker 100 national award for her prison ecological education work.

Stacy obtained a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and a Secondary Science Teaching Certificate from Oregon State University. She has an M.S. in Environmental Education from Southern Oregon State University. She has worked as an advisor and instructor at Oregon State University. In New Zealand, she worked as Community Relations Program Manager for the Department of Conservation, bringing innovative education programs to local schools and the public and participating in ornithological research in the subantarctic.

Stacy lives on a small farm with her husband where they enjoy raising milk goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens and growing vegetable gardens and fruit orchards.
