Twin Prairie – 2015 Annual Report

This report covers restoration activities at Twin Prairie, a Bureau of Land Management-owned mid-elevation meadow near Cottage Grove. Activities in 2015 included conducting a census of the shaggy horkelia population , removing Scotch broom and Himalayan blackberry, removing and girdling encroaching shrubs and doug-fir trees, and outplanting 220 plugs of shaggy horkelia to augment the existing population at the site.
