EarthShare Oregon selects seven new member organizations, including IAE
February marked IAE becoming a new member group of EarthShare Oregon. EarthShare engages people at their workplaces, bringing new support to environmental endeavors in your local community, across Oregon, and around the world. Through a single gift at work to EarthShare Oregon, you can easily support 80 of the best environmental organizations – or you can choose your favorites, and we hope IAE will be one!
Member groups formed EarthShare back in 1989 to market and manage workplace giving campaigns that no one member group had the resources to pursue on its own. Since its founding, EarthShare Oregon has raised over $10.5 million for conservation efforts that keep people healthy, reduce global warming and its effects, and preserve our natural environment. IAE is honored to be a part of this group of organizations dedicated to environmental conservation.
IAE joins with EarthShare to reach out to the greater community in an effort to support environmental efforts locally and nationally. Through EarthShare’s network, we will reach new audiences and supporters in nearly 100 public and private organizations in Oregon. Our EarthShare Oregon membership offers many valuable benefits that serve to broaden our reach, and help both IAE and EarthShare Oregon grow. Benefits include:
Corvallis-area employees at workplaces such as Hewlett Packard, CH2M Hill, City of Corvallis, Benton County, OSU, other state or federal agencies, and First Alternative Co-op can give to IAE through EarthShare, and take advantage of employer matching gifts and the convenience of payroll deduction. If your workplace is not currently involved in the EarthShare giving program, you can easily join. And feel free to contact IAE for a workplace presentation and to find out about volunteer opportunities for your employees.
