IAE Southwest is pleased to present a special Pollinator Workshop in New Mexico in partnership with the National Park Service, and in honor of National Bee Day on August 21. Dr. Olivia Messinger Carril, nationally renowned bee biologist and author of Bees in Your Backyard, will be providing a hands-on Bee Identification and Pollinator Workshop on National Bee Day August 21, 2021. The workshop setting is the beautiful Salinas Pueblo and Missions National Monument, Quarai site.

Event Highlights:
 Pollinator walking tour through the diverse habitats at the monument
 Bee identification
 Tips to attract, support, and sustain pollinators at Quarai’ s newly installed pollinator garden
 New book release and signing under a majestic cottonwood tree

Logistics :
 Registration required – click here or the button above to register
 Meet at Quarai Visitor Center on Saturday August 21st between 9:20-9:30am
 Bring personal water and wear sun protection and closed-toe shoes
 Snacks and cold beverages are provided
 Program ends at noon
