Zade Clark-Henry

Habitat Restoration Technician

[email protected], they/them

Zade is the restoration technician for the Habitat Restoration program at IAE. They support the program’s ecologists by performing onsite restoration treatments to improve habitat and population health for native flora and fauna, as well as providing additional support to the Restoration program. Zade started as a seasonal employee with IAE, monitoring rare plants and habitats across the Willamette Valley. They studied Natural Resources at Oregon State University, focusing on ecological restoration and botany.

While Zade loves hiking, botanizing, and mycologizing, they’ve recently become a bit of a homebody, and spend much of their free time with their spouse and two cats at home in their cozy 1902 bungalow. You can usually find them cooking, playing guitar, gardening, supporting community aid efforts, reading, or sitting around a bonfire with friends.
