Peter is one of IAE’s restoration ecologists and is coordinating a variety of habitat restoration projects. Examples are the Kincaid’s lupine recovery project and Herbert Farm and Natural Area.

Peter obtained a BSc (Honors) Degree in Zoology from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He worked for 27 years as a scientist for the Department of Conservation and conducted conservation research on threatened and endangered seabirds and shorebirds, such as albatrosses, penguins and oystercatchers. Prior to working for IAE, he worked as Wildlife Restoration Coordinator for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, managing federal grant programs for wildlife restoration. Peter lives on a small hobby farm near Philomath with his wife Stacy and a large garden and menagerie of animals.
