Farm Technician, Plant Materials Program

Jeni is the Farm Technician for IAE’s Plant Materials Program in Corvallis. She assists with the propagation, maintenance, and harvesting of native plants and seed for restoration projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Depending on the season, her work puts her in the greenhouse, in the farm fields or beside seed cleaning equipment. Jeni earned a B.S. degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of New Hampshire, guiding her into the big, beautiful world of plants. Her passion for the wild and rarities in life amplified during her travels to unfamiliar regions, farming along the way. After moving to the PNW in 2021, she entered the world of habitat restoration and conservation. She is an avid hiker, music enthusiast, and gardener. You can count on her to find every excuse in the book to grow and cook carrots, sweet potatoes, beets, and beans!
