Jeni is the Farm Technician for IAE’s Plant Materials Program in Corvallis. She assists with the propagation, maintenance, and harvesting of native plants and seed for restoration projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Depending on the day, her work puts her in the greenhouse, on the farm fields and alongside seed cleaning equipment. Jeni earned a B.S. degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of New Hampshire, guiding her into the big, beautiful world of botany. Her love for nature grew during her time at various diversified farms in New England and Colorado. After moving to the PNW in 2021, she entered the world of habitat restoration and conservation, a field she holds close to her heart. She is a Marion County Master Gardener, an avid hiker, music enthusiast and, undoubtedly, a cat lady. You can count on her to find every excuse in the book to grow and cook carrots, sweet potatoes, beets, and cabbage!
