Hollis Moore is a Plant Materials Technician at IAE’s Southwest Office. She supports the Southwest Seed Partnership’s goals in making high-quality native plant materials available for production and habitat restoration. She additionally leads pollinator garden design projects and manages the Santa Fe office herbarium. Hollis has over eight years of experience integrating the intersections of art, ecological design, conservation, and education. She earned her Masters in Landscape Architecture (MLA) from the University of New Mexico in 2022, where she focused on centering plant-human relationships through ecocultural restoration strategies for damaged arid lands. She also has a Masters in Fine Art (MFA) from the University of New Mexico in Art & Ecology, and a BA from Colorado College in Art and Anthropology.
Outside of work, Hollis collaborates on environmental art projects, grows dye-plants, and loves exploring new places through bikepacking.
