Cierra Dawson is completing a year-long internship with IAE in which she works on a variety of projects around Oregon; including rare plant habitat surveys, threatened and endangered species research and monitoring, invasive species management, habitat restoration, environmental education, and plant propagation. Cierra is completing her B.S. Environmental Science from Oregon State University this coming June. Her experience includes field data collection, invasive plant removal, and ecological restoration. She also has a background of 3 years in community engagement, volunteer coordinating, and public outreach. When she isn’t in the field or studying, Cierra can be found reading and reviewing books on her book blog, creating podcasts, or playing video games with her friends.
