Brooke completed a year-long internship with IAE in Corvallis, Oregon. She works on a variety of projects throughout the state including habitat restoration, rare plant surveys, threatened and endangered species monitoring, invasive species management, environmental education and plant propagation. Brooke graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with a B.S in Botany in 2021. After graduating, she worked for the New Mexico Speaker of the House, researching how the state can better address the climate crisis and improve equity in clean energy transitions for New Mexico’s first ever Climate Summit. In her free time, Brooke enjoys looking at lichens, skiing, playing the violin and gardening.
