Graham Frank

Graham is a forest ecologist based in Corvallis. Originally from the Portland area, Graham received a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and a master’s degree from Purdue University before returning to Oregon to complete his PhD in Forest Ecosystems and Society at Oregon State University. Graham is currently a Research Associate at OSU, studying how disturbance and management influence biodiversity in early seral forest ecosystems. Though he specializes in forests, Graham appreciates ecosystems of all kinds and is curious to know what your favorite plant is, and why. He is interested in research that informs management decisions, and in working to reduce barriers for students and practitioners to make the field of ecology more accessible. In his free time, Graham enjoys familiarizing himself with Oregon’s landscapes by dabbling in many different human-powered activities.
