Lupine Planting Work Party at Bald Hill Farm

March 28 @ 10:00 am 2:00 pm

Join Greenbelt Land Trust and Institute for Applied Ecology staff and fellow volunteers for a work party planting native lupine at Bald Hill Farm on Tuesday, March 28th, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Tools and gloves provided. We will hike about a half mile on a gravel road to reach the planting site and you should expect to be kneeling and bending over throughout the event. If you are only able to attend for part of the time, you’re still welcome to join us, just send an email to [email protected] to discuss.

Wear: Plan to dress for the weather with layers and rain gear. The ground will likely be soggy in the planting area, so waterproof shoes are recommended!

Bring: Lunch, a water bottle, and any emergency medications you usually bring on outdoor excursions for personal use (like Epi-Pens). Some snacks will be provided.

Accessibility notes: No previous experience is necessary. Restrooms are located about a half-mile hike from the work site.

Location: We will be working at Bald Hill Farm. Directions to the meeting location will be provided the week before the event.
