This report summarizes habitat restoration actions completed by the Institute for Applied Ecology at Old Peak Meadow (Old Peak) in 2017. Old Peak is a mid-elevation prairie located northeast of Marys Peak in the Oregon Coast Range and is owned by the City of Corvallis. The goal of the project is to improve song bird habitat by increasing floristic diversity and developing wildlife habitat (snags, shrubs and oak trees) in the ecotone between the forest and the meadow.2017 Old Peak Meadow Annual Report.
