Learn how ecologists have been working to enhance and expand habitat for the Fender’s blue butterfly and Kincaid’s lupine, two rare species endemic to the Willamette Valley. All are welcome! This tour will take place at a beautiful conservation site near Wren, Oregon that is not otherwise open to the public. Join us to learn about local ecosystems and what IAE is doing to conserve rare species at a local level. The tour comes with a wine tasting ($15-$18) or a glass of wine ($7-$14) at the tasting room of Lumos Wine Co. after the tour. RSVP to Evan Lasley at [email protected] with any questions.
