Chankawan Volunteer Weeding Day

October 30, 2025 @ 9:00 am 2:00 pm PDT

Please join the Institute for Applied Ecology and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde to pull Scotch broom at Chankawan Prairie! This site was recently seeded and planted with native prairie species including the endangered Willamette daisy, but Scotch broom seedlings continue to emerge from the seed bank. Join us and help set this site on a trajectory toward recovery!
