Join the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE) to tour our native plant farm with experts in propagating and producing native plants to provide restoration sites with pollinator and wildlife resources. On Thursday, May 29 from 10 am to noon, we will gather at IAE’s farm plots that are dedicated to raising natives. IAE staff will present outdoors at the plots about native plant production and management, weed control, use of fire, and lessons learned. Directions:
- From Corvallis, head East on Hwy 34 over the Willamette River.
- Take a left on Electric Rd. Parking will be on the left, inside the fenced area on the grass. We will direct participants where to park upon arrival. We ask that people do not park on the dirt road or the paved road on the perimeter of our plots.
- Our plots are on the South side of the street, across from the fenced-in area.
