Sara Digby

Sara’s passion and innate desire to work with plants and people has long driven her professional pursuits. Her undergraduate studies focused on business and ecological agriculture, and since graduating she has helped to develop and promote various programs within a number of organizations. She currently works as the Outreach Coordinator for the New Mexico Native Plant Society, and is a co-educator for the IAE Native Plant youth programs.
With a background in farming, herbalism, botany, and outreach, she enjoys using her skills to engage New Mexico’s communities in gaining a greater understanding and appreciation for native plants. Originally from Washington state, and having moved frequently throughout her life, she has a diverse background working with different plant communities ranging from temperate rainforest to high desert. She is excited to continue to expand her knowledge of native plants, as well as help inspire the community to explore and conserve the diverse ecology that New Mexico has to offer.
