Landowner Workshop: Restoring Willamette Valley Prairie and Oak Habitat

Do you have a piece of remnant oak or prairie habitat that you want to manage and/or restore?

This workshop will cover restoration planning, implementation and tools, common restoration challenges, restoring for wildlife (including birds, rare plants, and butterflies), and balancing mixed use of property with restoration.  We will focus on helping private landowners with properties ranging in size from a small backyard to multiple acres.  Attendees will be provided with a packet of resource information and some starter native seeds.

When: Thursday, August 11, 2016, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
