Event Details

We’re looking for 3-4 volunteers to help with cleaning seed from this year’s Seeds of Success collections. Seeds of Success is a national native seed collection program, led by the Bureau of Land Management. SOS’s mission is to collect wildland native seed for research, development, germplasm conservation, and ecosystem restoration. Join us in cleaning a variety of native species that have been collected from multiple sites and learn what type of tools are needed to remove varying types of plant material.

  • BRING: Lunch, snack and your own water bottle
  • SPECIAL SKILLS: None required, but sitting for extended periods should be expected
