Celeste is a Restoration Ecologist at IAE. As part of the Habitat Restoration Program, her work focuses on restoring habitat for rare and endangered species in the Willamette Valley and along the Oregon Coast. Over the last two decades, she has worked for government agencies and coastal conservation groups restoring wildlife habitat and native plant communities, developing native plant propagation programs and materials, managing invasive species, and supporting restoration partnerships. Celeste received a M.S. from Southern Oregon University with a thesis researching the effects of prescribed fire and fuels reduction in oak-chaparral communities. Poetry, art, botany, family, and friends fill her time away from work.
