Correctional Alternative Placement Program (CAPP)


CAPP staff place conetainers into trays

  • CAPP offers intensive treatment programs for substance abuse and cognitive issues for low to moderate risk male offenders. It is located in Kuna, Idaho, near Boise.
  • Prison staff, officers, and inmates have been involved in the project and are currently growing 20,000 sagebrush.
  • Institute for Applied Ecology is working with Boise BLM field office and will plant-out the plants in November 2015 on BLM land located east of Boise.
