November-December Volunteer Opportunities

Vounteers make education work!

Become an IAE volunteer by joining our volunteer email list.  We will let you know of great ways to help in the field or indoors with conservation projects.  Click here to sign up.

Our Ecological Education program welcomes volunteers for the following events working at area schools in Benton County, Oregon. Contact our staff if you are interested in helping with any of the events below:

Activity: Kings Valley Charter School, water quality

Date: 12/2/11, Time: 11-12
Activity: Kings Valley Charter School, weather permitting, we will take students to nearby creek to conduct water quality testing.

Date: 12/7/11, Time: 8-12
Activity: Muddy Creek, we will be working with students on their restoration site doing such activities as weeding and spreading mulch (pending)

Activity: Kings Valley Charter School, we will be talking about the effects of climate change and playing  the Plant Migration game
