May Golden Paintbrush Volunteer Opportunities
Golden Paintbrush (Castilleja levisecta) is a federally listed endangered species that has become locally extinct in the Willamette Valley. The Institute for Applied Ecology has been planting or seeding this species into experimental plots in upland prairies in the Willamette Valley since 2004. Now we need your help to go back to all of these sites to monitor the effectiveness of reintroduction efforts.
