Brophy presentation on climate change impacts to Oregon coast tidal wetlands at Siuslaw National Forest Climate Change Workshop

At 11:15am on Monday, May 16, 2011, Laura Brophy spoke on "Estuarine Wetland Responses to Climate Change" during the Siuslaw National Forest's Coast Range Climate Change workshop.

The workshop was entitled "State of Knowledge: What do we Know about Climate Change and its Effects on Oregon Coast Range Environments?" The workshop was held at the Yachats Commons, Yachats, Oregon. The workshop's goals were to supply information and gain understanding of the role of changing climate on natural resources in the Coast Range. Other speakers included Gordon Grant and Gordie Reeves of the Pacific NW Research Station in Corvallis, Oregon; Daniel Brown of the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute, Oregon State University; Sarah Shafer of the USGS Coast Range Geology & Environmental Change Science Center in Corvallis; Linda Geiser of the USFS Region 6 Air Program, Corvallis, and others.
