Linus Pauling Middle School

Marys River Natural Area, City of Corvallis Parks

At Linus Pauling, we are working with middle school students to restore Marys River Natural Area. Students are currently growing Kincaid’s lupine, Willamette daisy, and rose checkermallow in their greenhouse for upcoming spring plantings. This fall, we direct seeded Kincaid’s lupine and Bradshaw’s lomatium, as well as planting camas bulbs in order to increase the native diversity at Marys River and augment populations of threatened and endangered plant species.
