Jody Einerson
Jody presently works in the ecological education program developing a K-12 Oregon native plant curriculum. Between writing lessons you can find Jody working with the schoolyard restoration program and the Oregon RESTORE Teacher Institute.
"I'm excited to be working at IAE and helping to bring their great outreach programs to a wider audience!" After working as a veterinary technician Jody decided to pursue a new career in environmental education. "There is nothing quite like sharing a child's perspective on the wonders of the natural world, and I have been hooked ever since." Jody has an Associate of Science degree from Linn Benton Community College with an emphasis in natural resources and education, and is working on a Natural Resource degree with a specialty in Interpretive Education through Oregon State University.
You might also run into Jody at Benton County OSU Extension Service where she works on developing natural resource education materials. At OSU Extension she has co-authored the Willamette Valley Ecology Field Card series, facilitated teacher workshops for 4-H Wildlife Stewards, Project Learning Tree, & Project WILD, and developed outdoor learning kits for educators.
