Dominic Maze

Dominic Maze

Dominic received his B.S. in Plant Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2005) and his M.S. in Botany and Plant Pathology from Oregon State University (2007).  Dominic’s research interests include pollinator ecology, the effects of non-native molluscs on rare plant populations, and the factors that affect biotic resistance to invasions at multiple trophic levels.  Dominic has published both public and peer-reviewed articles on the above as well as on topics such as geology and popular music.

Dominic has worked on a variety of restoration and research projects and most recently was employed as a botany lecturer at Oregon State University.  He lives in Corvallis where he can be seen botanizing by day and playing the electric and upright basses in an assortment of local musical groups by night.
