Carolyn Menke

Carolyn MenkeCarolyn received her B.S. in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis (1999), and her M.S. in Botany and Plant Pathology from Oregon State University (2003). Carolyn's research interests include plant conservation biology, fire ecology and plant community invasibility. She has worked as a field technician in the North Cascades (University of Washington & USGS), a field biologist in natural resources consulting (Jones and Stokes, Inc. - Sacramento, CA), a research assistant investigating color polymorphisms of Acacia ligulata (UC Davis & Kinchega National Park - Menindee, NSW), a biological technician for bird surveys and FIA vegetation plots (USDA Forest Service, Klamath National Forest - Scott River R.D.), and as an instructor at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR.
